Cupcakes can be healthy

Cupcakes to turn into healthy foods in general to share some of the ingredients. A simple recipe that can be changed

For healthy muffins, start with a recipe that is easy to change - so they make other "types" of cupcakes. Let's start with a recipe for muffins that have a raspberry swirl.

To require the cupcakes, you can:

¾ cup granulated sugar

¾ cup cake flour

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

2 cups fresh raspberries

¾ cup whole wheat pastry flour

½ teaspoon baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ cup canola oil

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup low-fat buttermilk

1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line muffin tins with paper liners. Use healthy cooking spray to coat the liner. Puree the most of the cupcakes, apart from twelve for the tops of the cupcakes. Add a tablespoon of sugar to the blended raspberries. Once this is smooth, strain the mixture and discard the seeds. Set aside about ¼ cup of this mixture for the glaze.

Mix the whole wheat flour and add the cake flour and baking powder, salt and baking powder. Sugar and oil in a separate bowl, combine the eggs. Slowly mix in flour mixture with the oil and eggs. Add the vanilla and lemon peel as well, and the buttermilk. Mix it until it is smooth. Fill the muffin tins with this mixture evenly and bake for twenty to 25 minutes.
Healthy cake frosting

If you have the proper meal, is the most unhealthy thing about the frosting cupcakes. Much of the added sugar and you have to be removed. For this small cake, the raspberry mixture aside and combine it with cream cheese. Once the muffins have cooled, add the icing on the tops, and top each cake with a raspberry.
